Create a listing

All FirstList users can add unlimited listings. To add a listing:

1. Log in to FirstList

   .
2. Click Listings in the sidebar menu to open a sub-menu.
3. Click My listings.
4. Click Create listing in the header.
5. Enter in the details of your listing.
6. Click Save Draft.
7. If your listing does not include an MLS date then it is considered an exclusive listing. You will be asked to confirm that you have written permission from you client to abstain from listing on an MLS.
8. If it’s an exclusive listing (no MLS date) then click Publish.

Saving a draft

Save Draft stores your work even when the listing is incomplete. An address is enough to keep a draft. Missing price, description, photos, or MLS details do not block the save — finish those before you publish.

If a photo is flagged (see Listing photos), you can still save the draft. Publishing is blocked until the flagged photos are removed or replaced.

Listing photos

Gallery photos are checked when you upload them. FirstList only blocks added marketing — overlays that do not belong on a shared marketplace:

• “Coming Soon”, “For Sale”, “Just Listed”, and similar banners laid over the photo
• Brokerage logos, brand colour bars, and watermarks added in editing
• Agent names, headshots, phone numbers, websites, or QR codes added onto the image
• Real-estate yard signs used as marketing graphics

Ordinary city and building signage is allowed: shop and restaurant logos on a façade, traffic signs, street names, and the building’s own lettering. The check uses a 70% confidence bar, so light in-scene branding should pass.

A flagged photo is marked in the gallery. Remove it with the × on the photo, or upload a clean version. If you think the check is wrong, contact support@firstlist.co.

Flagged photos do not stop you from saving a draft. They do stop Publish, and they also block Save on a listing that is already live.

Publishing

Publish is the completeness check. The listing must have required fields filled in, at least one photo, and no flagged gallery photos. Fix any issues on the draft, then publish from the listing page.
