Distribution
Listing Distribution lets you show your Coming Soon listings to buyers searching outside FirstList—on partner consumer sites and on brokerage or agent websites that use the FirstList popup.
Distribution is on by default. You can opt out at any time from Settings → Listing Distribution.
How it works
- You publish a Coming Soon listing on FirstList (a residential listing with an MLS date still in the future—see Listing types).
- If Distribute my Coming Soon listings is enabled in your settings, that listing can appear on FirstList’s external Coming Soon network.
- Buyers who discover the listing on a partner site or via a website popup can view it and engage—without you having to post it separately on each channel.
- Performance from those external surfaces is rolled up in Listing Analytics under External Listing Distribution.
Opting out stops new and existing Coming Soon exposure on those external partner channels for your account. Listings continue to work normally inside FirstList (brokerage sharing, 1-to-1 share, shareable links, and so on).
Distribution channels
When distribution is enabled, Coming Soon listings may be shown on:

Partner sites surface listings to buyers already searching for homes. The popup channel surfaces Coming Soon inventory to visitors on brokerage and agent websites.
Turn distribution on or off

Log in to FirstList
. - Open Settings from the sidebar.
- Open the Listing Distribution tab.
- Use the Distribute my Coming Soon listings toggle:
- On — Your Coming Soon listings can appear on the external network and partner surfaces described above.
- Off — Your Coming Soon listings will no longer appear on those external sites.
You can change this setting whenever you like. The default for new accounts is on.
Show listings on your own website
Want Coming Soon listings on your brokerage or personal site? Add the FirstList Website Popup. Visitors can discover Coming Soon inventory and sign up for updates.

Track results in analytics
For each of your listings, open View analytics. The External Listing Distribution section summarizes activity from partner sites:
- Impressions — How often the listing was shown
- Views — How often the listing detail was opened
- Shares — Shares originating from partner surfaces
- Favourites — Times the listing was favourited on partner sites
